Monday
It has been a long, frightening day. Hearing TMI on a lecture is enough to scare me when I didn't know what I had to do. But I got over worrying when I processed slowly on what I can do next.
I am now part of team. It's really good to see everyone again after a long, relaxing summer.
Mimi has a good idea on the companionship between humans and cats. We agreed to discuss our story ideas on our Facebook page. We are really nervous but are willing to try our best.
Mimi has made our group page. It is really exciting. I just posted my story ideas on Facebook. Once our discussion on agreeing on whose ideas and form the quick storyboards. I think I'll bring a few books with me to help with the project.
At the moment, I'm finishing the rest of my rough storyboards.

I am now reviewing my interview questions on my primary research for my short animation idea.
Tuesday
Everyone is tired and sick so the meeting was cancelled.
I have done eight storyboards for 106 panels. The process is going really well. I have collected photographs and a recorded interview for my primary research. I plan to do more for the review on Thursday.
Wednesday
I am really nervous for the essay on my third year. My topic is the Child and Death in the Cinema. So far, the pressure is making my mind blank. I'm collecting books that relate to my subject. But I need help with getting my essay right because I hate them. Especially when I struggle with what I want to say.
After Jane's lecture, I feel a lot better and making plans to do my essay.
Possible titles:
- The Death of Childhood
- The Loss of Innocence
I have done more cartoon versions of my characters and doing the layouts next.
Thursday
I am really nervous for today. I get so embarrassed every time I show people my work. But eventually I worked up the courage to show my drawings to my tutor.
My tutor advised me to remake my story idea so it has resolution and is more symbolic. I've written down what he told me and expanded the ideas into a new story. It was great because I needed some improvement.
I need to make my characters a bit more realistic since my story idea is a bit dark. I just started working on the new storyboards. Totally exhausting....
Friday
I am collecting new moodboards and planning out the shots for the storyboards. It has been a slow day so I'm exhausted. Next I'm doing the characters and the layouts.
